About Cody
I was born and raised in Ville Platte, and everything I do runs through this community: my family, my job, my church, and the kids I coach.
For more than 20 years, I have been involved with Evangeline Parish Youth Basketball. After my father, Kenneth Ardoin, stepped down as Director, I was honored to continue his legacy by leading the organization. He's spent his own life serving this community, and I hope to carry that forward. I co-founded All United Inc., a registered nonprofit that started with youth sports (flag football, 7-on-7 football, AAU basketball) and has grown into something bigger. I've also coached football at Evangeline Reimagine Academy and serve at Antioch Baptist Church.
All United Inc. isn't just a league. As a registered nonprofit, we've run fundraisers and made direct donations to families in our parish going through hard times: medical bills, house fires, funeral costs, kids who needed school supplies or a Christmas they wouldn't have otherwise had. That work doesn't make the highlight reel, but it's the part I'm proudest of. I also make it a point to connect people in this parish with opportunity where I can, whether that's contractors with projects, job-seekers with openings, or neighbors with the right person to call. Growing Evangeline Parish means more than winning games.
I earned my Associate degree in Business Management from South Louisiana Community College, and this year I walked across the stage at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with my kids, my wife, and the family who pushed me to finish standing right there with me. I plan to bring that same discipline (budgets, accountability, follow-through) to how our school system is run.
I'm not running to be a politician. I'm running because I've spent two decades showing up for the kids of this parish, and I believe our schools deserve that same kind of showing up.
In The Community
You don't have to take my word for it. For over twenty years I've been on the courts, the fields, and the sidelines with the young people of Evangeline Parish — coaching, mentoring, organizing, and building programs that give our kids something to belong to. This is what showing up looks like.

Teachers are the backbone of strong schools. I'll fight for the support, respect, and working conditions that help us keep great teachers in Evangeline Parish classrooms instead of losing them to neighboring districts.
Safe, Effective Learning Environments
Kids can't learn and teachers can't teach where they don't feel safe. I'll prioritize secure campuses, clear discipline standards applied fairly, and facilities our students can be proud of.
Accountability & Smart Resource Management
Every dollar in our school budget belongs to the taxpayers and the kids. With my business administration background, I'll push for transparent budgets, honest reporting, and spending decisions that put classrooms first.
Opportunities Beyond the Classroom
Athletics and extracurricular activities build leadership, discipline, teamwork, accountability, and character — skills that prepare our kids for life. I'll champion strong athletics, arts, clubs, and career-and-technical pathways for every student.
Schools Connected to a Growing Parish
Strong schools and a strong parish grow together. Through All United Inc., I've spent years connecting families with resources and neighbors with opportunity — I'll bring that same instinct to the board, working to make sure our schools are partners in Evangeline Parish's growth, not separate from it.
Together, we can build stronger schools, create greater opportunities for our students, and continue moving Evangeline Parish forward.
